al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 20

✧ Prohibition of Facing the Qibla, and of Turning to it when Necessary, and the Command to Face the East and the West.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَسْتَقْبِلُوا الْقِبْلَةَ وَلَا تَسْتَدْبِرُوهَا لِغَائِطٍ وَلَا بَوْلٍ وَلَكِنْ شَرِّقُوا أَوْ غَرِّبُوا»

Translation
