✧ When the believer is attended, the angels of mercy come with white silk and say: 'Come out content, and well-pleased with you, to the mercy of Allah, and fragrance, and a Lord who is not angry.' So it comes out with a scent like the finest musk, so much so that they pass it from one to another until they bring it to the gate of the heaven. They say: 'How fragrant is this scent that has come to you from the earth!' Then they bring it to the souls of the believers, and they are more overjoyed at it than one of you at the return of an absent loved one. They ask him: 'What did so-and-so do? What did so-and-so do?' They say: 'Leave him, for he was in the distress of the world.' And when he says: 'Did he not come to you?' they say: 'He was taken to his mother, the pit.' And when the disbeliever is attended, the angels of punishment come with coarse sackcloth and say: 'Come out angry, and with anger upon you, to the punishment of Allah.' So it comes out with a stench like the foulest odor of a carcass, until they bring it to the gate of the earth, and they say: 'How foul is this odor!', until they bring it to the souls of the disbelievers.
