أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ أَبُو عَمَّارٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو وأَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَكْثِرُوا ذِكْرَ هَاذِمِ اللَّذَّاتِ» قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ الْمَوْتُ قَالَ لَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ هُوَ وَالِدُ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَعُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَالْقَاسِمِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَهُمْ ثَلَاثَةُ إِخْوَةٍ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ ثِقَةٌ وَعُثْمَانُ لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ وَالْقَاسِمُ لَيْسَ بِثِقَةٍ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Remember often the destroyer of pleasures.” Muhammad said in his hadith: “death.” Abu Abd al-Rahman said to us: “Muhammad b. Ibrahim is the father of Abu Bakr b. Abi Shaybah, Uthman b. Abi Shaybah, and al-Qasim b. Abi Shaybah. They are three brothers. Abu Bakr is thiqah, Uthman la ba'sa bihi, and al-Qasim is not thiqah.”
