✧ The necessity for washing if the circumcision wounds meet

أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَشْعَثُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا قَعَدَ بَيْنَ شُعَبِهَا الْأَرْبَعِ ثُمَّ اجْتَهَدَ فَقَدْ وَجَبَ الْغُسْلُ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا خَطَأٌ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا تَابَعَ عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ عَلَيْهِ وَالصَّوَابُ أَشْعَثُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَالْحَسَنُ لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَوْ لَمْ يَسْمَعْهُ مِنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَا أَشُكُّ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When he sits between her four limbs and strives, then the major ritual bath becomes obligatory." Abu Abd al-Rahman said: This is an error, and we do not know of anyone who followed Isa b. Yunus in it. The correct version is from Ash'ath, from al-Hasan, from Abu Hurayrah, but al-Hasan did not hear from Abu Hurayrah, or did not hear this from him. Abu Abd al-Rahman said: I am uncertain.
