أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ رُومَانَ
عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ خَوَّاتٍ عَمَّنْ صَلَّى مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ ذَاتِ الرِّقَاعِ صَلَاةَ الْخَوْفِ أَنَّ طَائِفَةً صَفَّتْ مَعَهُ وَطَائِفَةٌ وِجَاهَ الْعَدُوِّ فَصَلَّى بِالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ رَكْعَةً ثُمَّ ثَبَتَ قَائِمًا وَأَتِمُّوا لِأَنْفُسِهِمْ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفُوا فَصَفُّوا وِجَاهَ الْعَدُوِّ وَجَاءَتِ الطَّائِفَةُ الْأُخْرَى فَصَلَّى بِهِمُ الرَّكْعَةَ الَّتِي بَقِيَتْ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ ثُمَّ ثَبَتَ جَالِسًا وَأَتَمُّوا لِأَنْفُسِهِمْ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ بِهِمْ
Translation

✧ From Ṣāliḥ b. Khawwāt, from someone who prayed with the Messenger of God ﷺ the prayer of fear on the day of Dhāt al-Riqāʿ: that one group lined up with him and one group facing the enemy. He prayed one rakʿah with those who were with him, then remained standing, and they completed (the prayer) by themselves. Then they departed and lined up facing the enemy, and the other group came, and he prayed with them the rakʿah that remained of his prayer. Then he remained sitting, and they completed by themselves, then he said the salutation (salām) with them.
