✧ The command for ablution from what the fire has touched.

أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الزُّبَيْدِيُّ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَنَّ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْأَخْنَسِ بْنِ شَرِيقٍ

أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَهِيَ خَالَتُهُ فَسَقَتْهُ سَوِيقًا ثُمَّ قَالَتْ لَهُ تَوَضَّأْ يَا ابْنَ أُخْتِي فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «تَوَضَّؤُوا مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ»

✧ He entered upon Umm Habibah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, and she was his maternal aunt. She gave him some sawiq to drink, then said to him: 'Perform ablution, O son of my sister, for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Perform ablution from what the fire has touched."'
