أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ عَنْ حَيْوَةَ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي كَعْبُ بْنُ عَلْقَمَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ مَوْلَى نَافِعِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْقُرَشِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو يَقُولُ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِذَا سَمِعْتُمُ الْمُؤَذِّنَ فَقُولُوا مِثْلَ مَا يَقُولُ ثُمَّ صَلُّوا عَلَيَّ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيَّ صَلَاةً صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ عَشْرًا ثُمَّ سَلُوا لِي الْوَسِيلَةَ فَإِنَّهَا مَنْزِلَةٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ لَا تَنْبَغِي إِلَّا لِعَبْدٍ مِنْ عِبَادِ اللهِ أَرْجُو أَنْ أَكُونَ أَنَا هُوَ فَمَنْ سَأَلَ لِي الْوَسِيلَةَ حَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّفَاعَةُ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “When you hear the muezzin, say what he says. Then send blessings upon me, for whoever sends one blessing upon me, Allah sends ten upon him. Then ask Allah for the wasilah for me, for it is a station in Paradise that is not fitting except for one of Allah’s servants, and I hope that I am he. Whoever asks for the wasilah for me, intercession becomes due for him.”
