✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "This is Jibril who has come to teach you your religion." He prayed the morning prayer when dawn broke, and prayed the noon prayer when the sun declined. Then he prayed the afternoon prayer when he saw the shadow equal to its length. Then he prayed the sunset prayer when the sun set and the fasting person may break his fast. Then he prayed the night prayer when the twilight of the night had gone. Then he came to him the next day and prayed the morning prayer when it was a little light. Then he prayed the noon prayer when the shadow was equal to its length. Then he prayed the afternoon prayer when the shadow was twice its length. Then he prayed the sunset prayer at the same time, when the sun set and the fasting person may break his fast. Then he prayed the night prayer when an hour of the night had passed. Then he said: "The prayer is between your prayer yesterday and your prayer today."
