أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْمُقْرِئُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «صَلَاةُ الْقَاعِدِ عَلَى النِّصْفِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْقَائِمِ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا خَطَأٌ وَالصَّوَابُ الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو مُرْسَلٌ خَالَفَهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ كَيْفَ الْقِرَاءَةُ بِاللَّيْلِ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “The prayer of one sitting is half of the prayer of one standing.” Abu Abd al-Rahman said: This is an error, and the correct version is that of al-Zuhri, from Abdullah b. Amr, as a mursal report. Muhammad b. Ishaq contradicted him regarding how the recitation at night is done.
