أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ وَهُوَ ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ
قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تَكُنْ مِثْلَ فُلَانٍ كَانَ يَقُومُ اللَّيْلَ فَتَرَكَ قِيَامَ اللَّيْلِ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَدْخَلَ بِشْرُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ بَيْنَ يَحْيَى وَبَيْنَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: "Do not be like so-and-so; he used to stand at night and then abandoned the night prayer." Abu 'Abd al-Rahman said: Bishr b. Bakr inserted 'Umar b. al-Hakam between Yahya and Abu Salamah.
