عَنْ عَمْرو بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِي عَاصِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ مَوْلَى زَائِدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا صَلَّى يَعْنِي الْمُسْلِمَ ثُمَّ جَلَسَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ لَمْ تَزَلِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تَدْعُو لَهُ مَا لَمْ يُحَدِّثْ تَقُولُ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: “When he prays—meaning the Muslim—then sits in his place of prayer, the angels do not cease supplicating for him as long as he does not break his ablution, saying: ‘O Allah, forgive him; O Allah, have mercy on him.’”
