عَنْ قُتَيْبَةَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ عَنِ الْجَعْدِ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي رَجَاءٍ الْعُطَارِدِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِيمَا يَرْوِي عَنْ رَبِّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى «إِنَّ رَبِّكُمْ رَحِيمٌ مَنْ هُمَّ بِحَسَنَةٍ فَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا كُتِبَتْ لَهُ حَسَنَةً فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا كُتِبَتْ لَهُ عَشْرًا إِلَى سَبْعِمَائَةٍ إِلَى أَضْعَافٍ كَثِيرَةٍ وَمَنْ هُمَّ بِسَيِّئَةٍ وَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا كُتِبَتْ لَهُ حَسَنَةً فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا كُتِبَتْ وَاحِدَةً أَوْ يَمْحَاهَا اللهُ وَلَا يَهْلِكُ عَلَى اللهِ إِلَّا هَالِكٌ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, narrating from his Lord, Blessed and Exalted: 'Your Lord is Merciful. Whoever intends a good deed but does not do it, one good deed is recorded for him. If he does it, it is recorded for him as ten, up to seven hundred, up to many times over. Whoever intends an evil deed but does not do it, one good deed is recorded for him. If he does it, it is recorded as one, or Allah erases it. No one is destroyed by Allah except one who is doomed.'
