عَنْ عَمْرو بْن مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ آدَمَ عَنِ اللَّيْثِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرو بْنِ الْعَاصِ قَالَ

بَيْنَا أنَا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَحَلْقَةٌ مِنْ فُقَرَاءِ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ قُعُودٌ إِذْ قَعَدَ إِلَيْهِمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُمْتُ إِلَيْهِمْ فَقَالَ «لِيُبْشِرْ فُقَرَاءُ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ بِمَا يَسُرُّ وُجُوهَهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ قَبْلَ الْأَغْنِيَاءِ بِأَرْبَعِينَ عَامًا» فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ أَلْوَانَهُمْ أَسْفَرَتْ حَتَّى تَمَنَّيْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنْهُمْ

✧ While I was in the mosque and a circle of poor emigrants was sitting, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came and sat with them, so I went to them. He said, 'Let the poor emigrants be given glad tidings of what will brighten their faces, for they will enter Paradise forty years before the wealthy.' I saw their faces light up so much that I wished I were one of them.
