عَنْ أَبِي الطَّاهِرِ بْنِ السَّرْحِ وَالْحَارِثِ بْنِ مِسْكِينٍ كِلَاهُمَا عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «رَأَى نُخَامَةً فِي قِبْلَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَحَكَّهَا بِحَصَاةٍ ثُمَّ نَهَى أَنْ يَبْزُقَ الرَّجُلُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ أَوْ أَمَامَهُ وَلَكِنْ يَبْزُقُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ أَوْ تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ الْيُسْرَى»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ saw sputum in the qiblah of the mosque, so he scraped it with a pebble. Then he forbade a man from spitting to his right or in front of him, but rather he should spit to his left or under his left foot.
