أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَنْ دَاوُدَ وَأَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ قَزْعَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَسْلَمَةُ بْنُ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ دَاوُدَ عَنْ عَامِرٍ أَنَّ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنَ قَيْسٍ قَالَ قَدِمْتُ الشَّامَ فَلَقِيتُ أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ فَقَالَ «مِنْ أَيْنَ أَنْتَ؟» قَالَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِرَاقِ قَالَ «مِنْ أَيِّهِمْ؟» قُلْتُ مِنَ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ قَالَ «فَتَقْرَأُ عَلَى قِرَاءَةِ ابْنِ أُمِّ عَبْدٍ؟» قُلْتُ نَعَمْ قَالَ
اقْرَأْ عَلَيَّ وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَى فَقَرَأْتُ عَلَيْهِ (وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَى وَالنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّى وَالذَّكَرِ وَالْأُنْثَى) قَالَ «سَمِعْتُهَا هَكَذَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ» وَاللَّفْظُ لِلْحَسَنِ
