أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ وَأَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ فِي قَوْلِهِ {لَقَدْ رَأَى مِنْ آيَاتِ رَبِّهِ الْكُبْرَى} [النجم 18] قَالَ رَأَى رَفْرَفًا فِي حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ «أَخْضَرَ قَدْ سَدَّ الْأُفُقَ»

✧ On the authority of ʿAbd Allāh concerning His saying: {He certainly saw of the signs of his Lord the greatest} [al-Najm: 18]. He said: “He saw a green canopy,” in the hadith of ʿAbd al-Raḥmān: “green, filling the horizon.”
