Sūrat al-Najm

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ فِي قَوْلِهِ {وَلَقَدْ رَآهُ نَزْلَةً أُخْرَى} [النجم 13] إِلَى قَوْلِهِ {لَقَدْ رَأَى مِنْ آيَاتِ رَبِّهِ الْكُبْرَى} [النجم 18] قَالَ «رَأَى جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ قَدْ سَدَّ الْأُفُقَ لَمْ يَرَهُ إِلَّا فِي هَذَيْنِ الْمَكَانَيْنِ»
Translation

✧ On the authority of ʿAbd Allāh concerning His saying: {And he certainly saw him in another descent} [al-Najm: 13] up to His saying {He certainly saw of the signs of his Lord the greatest} [al-Najm: 18]. He said: “He saw Jibrīl ﷺ filling the horizon; he did not see him except in these two places.”
