أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ «أَلَا إِنَّمَا هِيَ أَرْبَعٌ فَمَا أَنَا بِأَشَحَّ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنِّي مُنْذُ سَمِعْتُهُنَّ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَلَّا تُشْرِكُوا بِاللهِ شَيْئًا وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللهُ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ» قَالَ حَمْزَةُ يَعْنِي وَلَا تَزْنُوا وَلَا تَسْرِقُوا

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said during the Farewell Pilgrimage: "Indeed it is only four. I am not more protective of them than I have been since I heard them from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: that you do not associate anything with Allah, and that you do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden except by right." Hamzah said, meaning: "and that you do not commit adultery and do not steal."
