أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ سَمِعَتْهُ يَقُولُ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ زَيْنَبَ عَنْ حَبِيبَةَ عَنْ أُمِّهَا أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ عَنْ زَيْنَبِ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ قَالَتْ

انْتَبَهَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ نَوْمٍ مُحْمَرًّا وَجْهُهُ وَهُو يَقُولُ «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ وَيْلٌ لِلْعَرَبِ مِنْ شَرٍّ قَدِ اقْتَرَبَ فُتِحَ الْيَوْمَ مِنْ رَدْمِ يَأْجُوجَ وَمَأْجُوجَ مِثْلُ هَذَا» وَعَقَدَ سَبْعِينَ وَعَشَرَةً سَوَاءً قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَنَهْلِكُ وَفِينَا الصَّالِحُونَ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ إِذَا كَثُرَ الْخَبَثُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ woke from sleep with a reddened face, saying: 'There is no god but Allah (three times). Woe to the Arabs from an evil that has drawn near. Today a breach has been opened in the barrier of Ya'juj and Ma'juj like this,' and he made a circle with his thumb and forefinger, indicating seventy or so. I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, will we be destroyed while there are righteous people among us?' He said: 'Yes, if wickedness becomes widespread.'
