أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا بَقِيَّةُ حَدَّثَنَا بَحِيرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ أَنَّ أَبَا رُهْمٍ السَّمَعِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ جَاءَ يَعْبُدُ اللهَ وَلَا يُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا وَيُقِيمُ الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتِي الزَّكَاةَ وَيَجْتَنِبُ الْكَبَائِرَ فَإِنَّ لَهُ الْجَنَّةَ فَسَأَلُوهُ عَنِ الْكَبَائِرِ فَقَالَ «الْإِشْرَاكُ بِاللهِ وَقَتْلُ النَّفْسِ الْمُسْلِمَةِ وَالْفِرَارُ يَوْمَ الزَّحْفِ»

✧ From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said: “Whoever comes worshipping Allah and associating nothing with Him, establishes prayer, gives zakat, and avoids the major sins—for him is Paradise.” They asked him about the major sins, and he said: “Associating partners with Allah, killing a Muslim soul, and fleeing on the day of battle.”
