أَخْبَرَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ {يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِ وَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ} [آل عمران 102] لَوْ أَنَّ قَطْرَةً مِنَ الزَّقُّومِ قُطِرَتْ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ لَأَمَرَّتْ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ مَعِيشَتَهُمْ فَكَيْفَ مَنْ هُوَ طَعَامُهُ أَوْ لَيْسَ لَهُ طَعَامٌ غَيْرُهُ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: {O you who believe, fear Allah as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims} [Al Imran: 102]. If a drop of Zaqqum were to fall on the earth, it would embitter the livelihood of all the people of the earth. Then how is it for the one whose food it is, or who has no food other than it?
