✧ The reward of the one who dies testifying that there is no god but Allah, and the mention of the differing narrations about the story of Muadh b. Jabal.

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسٌ قَالَ وَذَكَرَ لَنَا

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لِمُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ «مَنْ لَقِيَ اللهَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا فَلَهُ الْجَنَّةُ» قَالَ أَلَا أُبَشِّرُ النَّاسَ؟ قَالَ «لَا يَتَّكِلُونَ»

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said to Mu‘adh b. Jabal: “Whoever meets Allah without associating anything with Him will have Paradise.” He said: “Should I give the people the good news?” He said: “No, lest they rely on that.”
