أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اللهُمَّ أَمْضِ لِأَصْحَابِي هِجْرَتَهُمْ وَلَا تَرُدَّهُمْ عَلَى أَعْقَابِهِمْ» لَكِنِ الْبَائِسُ سَعْدُ بْنُ خَوْلَةَ يَرْثِي لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ مَاتَ بِمَكَّةَ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “O Allah, complete the emigration of my Companions and do not turn them back on their heels.” But the unfortunate one, Sa'd b. Khawlah, was mourned by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ because he died in Makkah.
