أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ لَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا صَالِحٍ
أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ أَتَى رَجُلٌ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ لَهُ لَدَغَتْنِي عَقْرَبٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَوْ أَنَّكَ قُلْتَ حِينَ أَمْسَيْتَ أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ لَمْ يَضُرَّكَ

✧ He informed him that he heard Abu Hurairah say: A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said to him: 'A scorpion stung me.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'If you had said when you reached the evening: "I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created," it would not have harmed you.'
