✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ traveled and night approached, he would say: "O earth, my Lord and your Lord is Allah. I seek refuge in Allah from your evil, and from the evil of what is in you, and the evil of what He created in you, and the evil of what creeps upon you. I seek refuge in You from a lion and a black [snake], from the serpent and the scorpion, and from the inhabitants of the land, and from a parent and what he begot." Abu 'Abd al-Rahman said: Al-Zubayr b. al-Walid is Syrian; I do not know of him except through this hadith.
