أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْبَصْرِيُّ عَنْ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ

قَالَ جَابِرٌ كُنَّا إِذَا كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي سَفَرٍ فَصَعِدْنَا كَبَّرْنَا وَإِذَا انْحَدَرْنَا سَبَّحْنَا قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحَسَنُ عَنْ جَابِرٍ صَحِيفَةً وَلَيْسَ بِسَمَاعٍ

Translation

✧ Jabir said: When we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey and we ascended, we said takbir, and when we descended, we said tasbih. Abu Abd al-Rahman said: Al-Hasan from Jabir is a written page, not a direct audition.
