أَخْبَرَنَا وَاصِلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى عَنِ ابْنِ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ نَهْشَلِ بْنِ مُجَمِّعٍ الضَّبِّيِّ عَنْ قَزْعَةَ قَالَ كُنْتُ عِنْدَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ فَلَمَّا خَرَجْتُ شَيَّعَنِي

وَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ قَالَ لُقْمَانُ الْحَكِيمُ «إِنَّ اللهَ إِذَا اسْتُودِعَ شَيْئًا حَفِظَهُ وَإِنِّي أَسْتَوْدِعُ اللهَ دَيْنَكَ وَأَمَانَتَكَ وَخَوَاتِمَ عَمَلِكَ وَأَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكَ السَّلَامُ»

Translation

✧ And he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Luqman the Wise said: 'When Allah is entrusted with something, He preserves it, and I entrust to Allah your religion, your trust, and the seal of your deeds, and I convey to you peace.'
