أَخْبَرَنِي شُعَيْبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا بَقِيَ ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ نَزَلَ اللهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا فَيَقُولُ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَسْتَغْفِرُنِي أَغْفِرُ لَهُ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَدْعُونِي أَسْتَجِيبُ لَهُ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَسْتَرْزِقُنِي أَرْزُقُهُ حَتَّى يَنْفَجِرَ الصُّبْحُ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When a third of the night remains, Allah, Blessed and Exalted, descends to the lowest heaven and says: 'Who is there who seeks My forgiveness that I may forgive him? Who is there who supplicates to Me that I may answer him? Who is there who seeks provision from Me that I may provide for him?' until the morning breaks."
