أَخْبَرَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنِي الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ أَكْثَرَ مِنَ الِاسْتِغْفَارِ جَعَلَ اللهُ لَهُ مِنْ كُلِّ هَمٍّ فَرَجًا وَمِنْ كُلِّ ضِيقٍ مَخْرَجًا وَيَرْزُقْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَحْتَسِبُ»

Translation

  2. al-Walīd b. Muslim
  3. al-Ḥakam b. Muṣʿab al-Qurashī
  4. Muḥammad b. ʿAlī b. ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAbbās from his father from his grandfather

The Prophet ﷺ said: If anyone continually asks pardon, Allah will appoint for him a way out of every distress, and a relief from every anxiety, and will provide for him from where he did not reckon. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1518)
