أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْمُقْرِئُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِذَا أَفَادَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَرْأَةَ أَوِ الْخَادِمَ أَوِ الْبَعِيرَ فَلْيَضَعْ يَدَهُ عَلَى نَاصِيَتِهَا ثُمَّ يَقُولُ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَهَا وَخَيْرَ مَا جَبَلْتَهَا عَلَيْهِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا وَشَرِّ مَا جَبَلْتَهَا عَلَيْهِ وَأَمَّا الْبَعِيرُ فَإِنَّهُ يَأْخُذُ بِذِرْوَةِ سَنَامِهِ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ
Translation

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ that he said: "When one of you acquires a woman, a servant, or a camel, let him place his hand on her forelock and then say: 'O Allah, I ask You for her good and the good of what You have disposed her upon, and I seek refuge in You from her evil and the evil of what You have disposed her upon.' As for the camel, he takes hold of the top of its hump and then says the like of that."
