أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ خَطَبَ النَّاسَ فَصَعِدَ إِلَيْهِ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ فَضَمَّهُ إِلَى صَدْرِهِ وَقَبَّلَهُ وَقَالَ «إنَّ ابْنِي هَذَا سَيِّدٌ وَإنَّ اللهَ عَلَّهُ أَنْ يُصْلِحَ بِهِ بَيْنَ الْفِئَتَيْنِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed the people, and al-Hasan b. 'Ali climbed up to him, so he embraced him to his chest, kissed him, and said, 'This son of mine is a master, and perhaps Allah will reconcile through him between two great factions of the Muslims.'
