حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ

حَدَّثَنِي الْحَارِثُ الأَعْوَرُ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ وَكَانَ كَذَّابًا

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Qutaybah b. Saʿīd
  2. Jarīr
  3. Mughīrah
  4. al-Shaʿbī

‘al-Hārith al-A’war ul-Hamdānī narrated to me, and he is a liar’.
