Sahih Muslim 801b
The virtue of listening to the Qur'an, asking one who has memorized it to recite so that one may listen, weeping when reciting, and pondering the meanings
وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ قَالاَ أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ جَمِيعًا عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَلَيْسَ فِي حَدِيثِ أَبِي مُعَاوِيَةَ فَقَالَ لِي أَحْسَنْتَ
Translation
" He said to me: You recited (the Qur'an) well."
