حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو دَاوُدَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مَعْبَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ مَنْ جَمَعَ الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَرْبَعَةٌ كُلُّهُمْ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ أُبَىُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ وَمُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ وَزَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ وَرَجُلٌ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ يُكْنَى أَبَا زَيْدٍ
Translation

I said to Anas b. Malik: Who collected the Qur'an during the lifetime of Messenger of Allah ﷺ? He said: Four (persons), all of them belonging to Ansir: Ubayy b. Ka'b, Mu'adh b. Jabal, Zaid b. Thabit and a person from the Ansar whose Kunya was Abu Zaid.
