The Signs of the Last Hour - Section 1
وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «يَكُونُ فِي آخِرِ الزَّمَانِ خَلِيفَةٌ يُقَسِّمُ الْمَالَ وَلَا يَعُدُّهُ». وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: قَالَ: «يَكُونُ فِي آخِرِ أُمَّتِي خَلِيفَةٌ يَحْثِي الْمَالَ حَثْيًا وَلَا يَعُدُّهُ عَدًّا». رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ
Translation
Jabir reported God's messenger as saying, "In the last days there will be a Caliph who will distribute wealth without reckoning it." In a version he said, "Among the last of my people there will be a Caliph who will pour out wealth without counting it." Muslim transmitted it.
