Mishkat al-Masabih 2717

The Sacred Territory of Mecca. May God most high guard it - Section 1

وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لَا يَحِلُّ لِأَحَدِكُمْ أَنْ يَحْمِلَ بمكةَ السِّلَاح». رَوَاهُ مُسلم

Translation

Jabir said he heard God's messenger say, “It is not allowable for any of you to carry weapons in Mecca.” Muslim transmitted it.
