وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ جَمِيعًا: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ - هُوَ التَّيْمِيُّ - قَالَ:

رَأَيْتُ عُثْمَانَ ؓ عِنْدَ الْمَقَامِ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ قَدْ تَقَدَّمَ بِقِرَاءِ الْقُرْآنِ فِي رَكْعَةٍ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ
