✧ Bowing, prostration, and the remembrance in them

- وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبَانَ، نَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ:

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ، فِي يَوْمٍ مَطِيرٍ وَهُوَ يَتَّقِي بِكِسَاءٍ عَلَيْهِ الطِّينُ إِذَا سَجَدَ

✧ I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a rainy day, and when he prostrated he would protect himself with a cloak on which there was mud.
