✧ The Description of Paradise and Its People

وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ: حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ؓ

يَقُولُ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ: انْطَلِقُوا بِنَا إِلَى السُّوقِ، فَيَنْطَلِقُونَ إِلَى مَنَابِرَ مِنْ كُثْبَانٍ مِنْ مِسْكٍ أَوْ جِبَالٍ مِنْ مِسْكٍ فَإِذَا رَجَعُوا إِلَى أَزْوَاجِهِمْ يَقُولُ أَزْوَاجُهُمْ: إِنَّا لَنَجِدُ مِنْكُمْ رِيحًا مَا وَجَدْنَاهَا حِينَ أَوْ حَتَّى خَرَجْتُمْ مِنْ عِنْدِنَا، قَالَ: وَيَقُولُ هَؤُلَاءِ: إِنَّا لَنَجِدُ مِنْكُمْ رِيحًا مَا وَجَدْنَاهَا حِينَ أَوْ حَتَّى خَرَجْنَا مِنْ عِنْدِكُمْ، أَوْ كَمَا قَالَ

Translation

✧ The people of Paradise say: Let us go to the market. They go to pulpits of sand dunes of musk or mountains of musk. When they return to their wives, their wives say: We find from you a fragrance we did not find when you left us—or until you left us. He said: And these say: We find from you a fragrance we did not find when we left you—or until we left you. Or as he said.
