✧ The Trial of the Grave and the Punishment of the Grave

قَالَ: وَحَدَّثْنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ الدَّانَاجُ قَالَ:

شَهِدْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ؓ وَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ: يَا أَبَا حَمْزَةَ، إِنَّ قَوْمًا يُكَذِّبُونَ بِالشَّفَاعَةِ، قَالَ ؓ: لَا تُجَالِسُوهُمْ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ: إِنَّ قَوْمًا يُكَذِّبُونَ بِعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، قَالَ ؓ: لَا تُجَالِسُوهُمْ

Translation

✧ I witnessed Anas b. Malik ؓ when a man said to him: O Abu Hamzah, there are people who deny the intercession. He ؓ said: Do not sit with them. Then a man said to him: There are people who deny the punishment of the grave. He ؓ said: Do not sit with them.
