قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، ثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ أَبِي جَنَابٍ، عَنْ إِيَادِ بْنِ لَقِيطٍ، عَنِ الْجَهْدَمَةِ امْرَأَةِ بَشِيرِ بْنِ الْخَصَاصِيَّةِ، عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ الْخَصَاصِيَّةِ ؓ قَالَ:
قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: مِمَّنْ أَنْتَ ؟ قُلْتُ: مِنْ رَبِيعَةَ، قَالَ: مِنْ رَبِيعَةَ الْفَرَسِ الَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ لَوْلَاهُمُ انْتَقَلَتِ الْأَرْضُ بِأَهْلِهَا، أَحْمَدُ اللهَ الَّذِي مَنَّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ بَيْنِ رَبِيعَةَ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ asked me: “From whom are you?” I said: “From Rabi’a.” He said: “From Rabi’a of the horse, those of whom it is said: Were it not for them, the earth would have moved away with its inhabitants. I praise God who has favored you among Rabi’a.”
