وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَشْيَاخِهِ قَالُوا:
دَخَلَ سَعْدٌ عَلَى سَلْمَانَ ؓ يَعُودُهُ، فَبَكَى سَلْمَانُ ؓ، فَقَالَ لَهُ سَعْدٌ ؓ: مَا يُبْكِيكَ يَا عَبْدَ اللهِ ؟ تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ عَنْكَ رَاضٍ، وَتَرِدُ عَلَيْهِ الْحَوْضَ، وَتَلْقَى أَصْحَابَكَ
Translation

✧ Sa'd entered upon Salman ؓ to visit him, and Salman ؓ wept. Sa'd ؓ said to him: What makes you weep, O servant of God? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ died while he was pleased with you, you will come to him at the Pond, and you will meet your companions.
