قَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ، ثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي عَوْنٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي أَسَدٍ قَالَ:
رَأَيْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ ؓ فِي غَزْوَةِ ذَاتِ السَّلَاسِلِ، وَلِحْيَتُهُ كَأَنَّهَا لَهَبُ الْعَرْفَجِ
