✧ Regarding the saying of the Exalted: 'And above them eight will bear the Throne of your Lord that Day' - he said: 'They are four angels carrying it on their shoulders. Each of them has four faces: a face of a bull, a face of a lion, a face of an eagle, and a face of a man. Each of them has four wings: two wings are over his face, for fear that he might look at the Throne and be struck down, and two wings with which they rise. They have no speech except: "Glorify Allah, the Strong, the Most High. His greatness has filled what is between the heavens and the earth."'
