قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ، قَالَ:
تَاهُوا فِي اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ فَرْسَخًا أَرْبَعِينَ عَامًا، وَجُعِلَ بَيْنَ ظَهْرَانِيهِمْ حَجَرٌ لَهُ مِثْلُ رَأْسِ الثَّوْرِ، فَإِذَا نَزَلُوا انْفَجَرَ مِنْهُ اثْنَتَا عَشْرَةَ عَيْنًا، فَإِذَا رَحَلُوا حَمَلُوهُ عَلَى ثَوْرٍ فَاسْتَمْسَكَ
Translation

✧ They wandered for forty years in an area of twelve parasangs. A stone the size of a bull’s head was placed among them. When they camped, twelve springs gushed from it, and when they set out, they loaded it on a bull and it held fast.
