✧ Al-Harith b. Suwayd had accepted Islam, then he joined his people and disbelieved. So Allah, Exalted is He, sent down this verse: How shall Allah guide a people who disbelieved after their belief and had witnessed that the Messenger is true? (to the end of) the verse. He said: A man from his people carried them to him and read them to him. Al-Harith said: By Allah, I know you to be truthful, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is more truthful than you, and Allah, Exalted is He, is the most truthful of the three. Then he returned and accepted Islam with a good Islam.
