وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ: حَدَّثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ خَارِجَةَ، ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ غَزِيَّةَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ، عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ ؓ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

« إِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى إِذَا أَحَبَّ عَبْدًا حَمَاهُ الدُّنْيَا، كَمَا يَظَلُّ أَحَدُكُمْ يَحْمِي سَقِيمَهُ الْمَاءَ
