✧ The Greatness of Allah and His Attributes

وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ: حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ عُبَيْدٍ الْمُكْتِبِ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ، أَوِ ابْنُ عُمَرَ ؓ - الشَّكُّ مِنْ عُبَيْدٍ - قَالَ:

إِنَّ اللهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى احْتَجَبَ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ بِأَرْبَعٍ: بِنُورٍ، ثُمَّ ظُلْمَةٍ، ثُمَّ بِنَارٍ، ثُمَّ ظُلْمَةٍ، أَوْ بِنَارٍ، ثُمَّ ظُلْمَةٍ، ثُمَّ نُورٍ، ثُمَّ ظُلْمَةٍ
