حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ، ثَنَا عَبَّادٌ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ:
مَا اكْتَسَبَ رَجُلٌ شَيْئًا أَفْضَلَ مِنْ عَقْلٍ يَهْدِي صَاحِبَهُ إِلَى هُدًى ; وَيَرُدُّهُ عَنْ رَدًى، وَمَا تَمَّ إِيمَانُ عَبْدٍ، وَلَا اسْتَقَامَ دِينُهُ، حَتَّى يَكْمُلَ عَقْلُهُ
Translation

✧ A man has not acquired anything better than an intellect that guides its possessor to guidance and turns him away from destruction. The faith of a servant is not complete, nor is his religion upright, until his intellect is complete.
