✧ The Rights of a Muslim upon a Muslim

وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ فِي " الزُّهْدِ ": حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُبَارَكُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ:

« كَانُوا يَقُولُونَ: إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمَ مِرْآةُ أَخِيهِ يُرِيهِ مِنْهُ مَا لَا يَرَى مِنْ نَفْسِهِ

Translation

Chain of narrators

  3. Mubārak b. Faḍālah
  4. al-Ḥasan

✧ They used to say: The Muslim is the mirror of his brother; he shows him from himself what he does not see from himself.
